How Aqueous Ozone Cleans and Kills Microbes Naturally

Ozone is one of the strongest oxidizers known to man. This makes it 50% more powerful than chlorine and up to 3000 times faster de stroying microorganisms. Ozone destroys microorganisms by reacting with oxidizable cellular components. Therefore, membrane phospho lipids, intracellular enzymes, proteins, and genomic material are tar geted by ozone; these reactions result in cell damage and death of microorganisms.
